Dining Chair in Elm

Dining chair in English Elm with Beech detailing.  The legs are positioned vertically with the back rest curved in three different planes to reintroduce a perfectly comfortable back support.  This three dimensional shaping means that the two layers of beech detailing in the back rest, which are in fact parallel, have the appearance of arching up and away from each other as they follow the contours of the cut.  The solid seat is unattached to the legs and appears to float above the structural elements of the chair.  This design makes a comfortable dining chair and works well both with and without arm rests.
